Robins Kaplan LLP Announces 2023 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellow and Pathfinder

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Emily Tremblay has been selected as a member of the 2023 class of Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows. Additionally, Waleed Abbasi has been selected to the 2023 class of LCLD Pathfinders.
The LCLD Fellows program connects high-potential, diverse attorneys from LCLD member organizations for a year-long professional development program focused on leadership and relationship building. It provides participants with the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession as well as experts in the fields of learning, development, and executive coaching. The LCLD Pathfinders program equips early-career attorneys with practical tools for developing and leveraging internal professional networks through relationship-building skills, foundational leadership skills, and understanding of career development strategies applicable to both in-house and law firm practice.
Emily Tremblay is a patent litigator dedicated to protecting and monetizing her clients’ intellectual property and technology, as well as helping them grow and protect their competitive positions in the markets where they operate. Emily represents clients in complex, multi-million-dollar patent litigation across technologies and the country. Her practice focuses on Hatch-Waxman and other pharmaceutical patent litigation and strategic counseling, and patent licensing and strategic enforcement in the computing and semiconductor space. Emily was recently named “Attorney of the Year” by Minnesota Lawyer.
Waleed Abbasi focuses his practice on commercial litigation and antitrust law. His practice ranges from representing class action plaintiffs in the prosecution of anticompetitive practices to complex commercial actions involving corporate clients. Waleed earned his law degree from Cornell Law School where he was a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society and interned with the Federal Trade Commission. Based on his accomplishments, Waleed was listed in the 2023 edition of The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch.
