Lauren Coppola Named an Emerging Leader by Profiles in Diversity Journal
November 15, 2024
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Lauren Coppola has been recognized on Profiles in Diversity Journal’s inaugural Emerging Leaders list, honoring 18 professionals for their exceptional leadership and contributions within their organizations. This new initiative celebrates rising leaders who drive impactful change and foster inclusion across industries.
Lauren is the Deputy Managing Partner of the firm’s Boston office and chairs the Telecommunications Practice Group and co-chairs the Appellate Practice Group. She is a seasoned litigator with extensive experience in complex commercial, telecommunications, and intellectual property disputes in both state and federal courts, as well as before regulatory bodies across the United States. With almost 20 years of focused work in telecommunications, she has developed deep industry insight, effectively advocating for clients on matters such as intercarrier compensation disputes, FCC rulemaking, and challenges to agency orders in federal appellate courts. Lauren is also an experienced trial lawyer, trying commercial disputes in Massachusetts and New York federal and state courts.
Outside of her professional practice, Lauren is deeply committed to pro bono work, community service, and supporting underrepresented communities. She volunteers at the Lawyers Clearinghouse CORI Clinic and Lawyers for Good Government and serves as pro bono counsel for American Indian Tribes. She also co-founded the Eliza Juliet Norton Memorial Foundation in memory of a young girl who passed away in 2022. The firm provides pro bono counsel to the Foundation, which has raised over $1,000,000 in under two years to fund scholarships and facilities that promote athletic opportunities for girls.
