Marriott Data Breach Investigation

On November 30, 2018, Marriott International disclosed that its Starwood reservation system was hacked, exposing the confidential information of more than 500 million customers.

According to Marriott, the stolen data includes passport numbers, mailing addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and encrypted payment card information. Anyone who made a reservation at a Starwood property on or before September 10, 2018, may be affected.
