Carrie Lambert Recognized as Notable Nonprofit Board Member by Twin Cities Business Magazine
August 12, 2024
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Carrie Lambert has been named a 2024 Notable Nonprofit Board Member by Twin Cities Business Magazine. This award recognizes leaders who generously devote their time and talents to strengthening vital community services.
Carrie serves on the board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Minnesota/Dakotas Chapter. Following her son Louie’s type 1 diabetes diagnosis in 2016, she immediately began fundraising for JDRF’s One Walk through her family’s Team Super Lou. Since 2017, Carrie has led fundraising efforts for the One Walk and the JDRF Hope Gala, raising over $250,000 through Team Super Lou. Additionally, she co-hosted the Minneapolis JDRF Hope Gala in 2021 and 2022, events that collectively raised nearly $3 million. These initiatives have exceeded fundraising goals and provided crucial funding for numerous active trials aimed at finding a cure for type 1 diabetes. Carrie currently serves as the Chair of the Nominating and Board Committee, focusing on recruiting new directors and leaders for the chapter’s committees.
