Three Robins Kaplan Partners Named BTI Client Service All-Stars
June 17, 2024
Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partners Jeffrey Gleason, Scott Johnson, and Christopher Larus have been recognized as 2024 BTI Client Service All-Stars by the BTI Consulting Group.
The BTI Client Service All-Stars report is the gold standard for law firms and corporate counsel alike to identify the attorneys delivering truly superior client service. According to BTI, the only way to be included in The BTI Client Service All-Stars is through an unprompted, unequivocal recommendation from corporate counsel. No law firm or attorney can submit a name or pay to be included on this list. No firm can nominate an attorney or submit corporate counsel names to be interviewed. The 2024 BTI Client Service All-Stars are identified solely and exclusively by corporate counsel.
Of the 148 law firms recognized, Robins Kaplan was one of the just 33 firms with three or more attorneys named to the list.
“Commitment to client service is one of the core values at Robins Kaplan and a key differentiator for our firm,” said Anthony Froio, the firm’s Chair of the Executive Board and Managing Partner. “Jeff, Scott, and Chris’s recognition as BTI Client Service All-Stars highlights their dedication and commitment to client service, and is among the best examples of our firm’s focus on providing outstanding service to our clients.”
Jeffrey Gleason co-chairs the firm’s Health Care Litigation Group, representing clients in multi-million-dollar healthcare plan disputes with providers over improper billing, breach of contract, and fraud. He leads internal compliance, regulatory, and employment investigations. Additionally, he represents Fortune 500 companies in complex business and antitrust litigation. In 2023 and 2024, he was recognized as a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation, highlighting his exceptional litigation skills and reputation in the field.
Scott Johnson heads the firm’s Minneapolis Insurance Group. He specializes in insurance and reinsurance coverage, representing insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation. He has authored numerous coverage opinions and handled a wide range of disputes under first-party and third-party insurance policies, including claims from fire, explosion, earthquake, equipment breakdown, COVID-19, and flood. He has litigated issues involving policy exclusions, liability limitations, suit limitations, statutes of limitations, business interruption claims, duty to defend, and loss-in-progress.
Christopher Larus is the chair of the firm’s National IP and Technology Litigation Group. For more than 25 years, he has helped leading technology companies protect and monetize their intellectual property. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a certified Civil Trial Law Specialist, Larus tries complex patent, trade secret, trademark, copyright, and licensing dispute cases in courts throughout the United States and internationally. He also has extensive experience planning and executing licensing campaigns for various IP assets and technologies.
