Overview

Trey Gunn has extensive experience assisting clients across the country and abroad with complex insurance coverage disputes, both pre- and post-litigation. Trey has represented insurers and reinsurers involving numerous types of coverages, but he has primarily focused his practice on builder’s risk and all risk claims pertaining to both property and time element losses in the construction and energy sectors. Trey has also represented insurer clients in large-loss subrogation claims, helping recover millions of dollars for his clients.

Trey assists and advises clients from the initial claim submission all the way through resolution of contentious litigation, working closely with claims handlers, loss adjusters, and expert witnesses. Trey’s strong education background in accounting allows him to assist clients with and understand complex business loss calculations. Trey also has experience with construction project scheduling, routinely working with loss adjusters and scheduling consultants to assist clients resolve delay claims.

Trey is licensed in Mississippi and Tennessee and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Litigation Section of the Mississippi Bar.
