Navy Thompson
Overview
Navy Thompson leads a dynamic legal career, representing clients in domestic litigation and international disputes around the world. He has represented clients through each stage of litigation, including in pre-litigation disputes, motions practice, discovery, summary judgment, mediation, and on appeal. Navy now focuses on class action litigation, serving as an aggressive advocate for his clients and protecting the economic rights of the American public. He maintains a vibrant pro bono practice, routinely advising and representing clients regarding issues of environmental law, human rights, and civil rights.
Prior to becoming a litigator, Navy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Chicago and spent a year studying at the Paris Institute of Politics (Sciences Po - Paris), thereafter serving as a congressional intern at the United States Capitol. While studying at Georgetown Law, Navy was designated a Global Law Scholar and externed for multiple federal district courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Following law school, Navy served as an attorney at a prominent global law firm.
