Overview

Marcus Guith practices complex civil litigation in Robins Kaplan’s Business Litigation Practice Group. Marcus arrived at the firm after serving as a judicial clerk for four years; he first clerked for Judge Paul L. Maloney in the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan and more recently for Judge Richard Allen Griffin of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Marcus leverages the insights gained through these clerkships to serve his clients at the firm.

Marcus attended the University of Minnesota Law School, where he was a managing editor for the Minnesota Law Review. During law school, Marcus also interned with the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Minnesota, summered with a mid-size law firm in Minneapolis, and externed for Judge Patrick J. Schiltz of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. Marcus also provided more than 100 hours of pro bono legal service while a law student.
