Julie A.K. Reynolds
Overview
Julie Reynolds is a member of the Mass Tort Group, which litigates mass claims arising from single or multiple events occurring over time, including cases involving defective drugs and medical devices. Her legal experience includes working on critical tasks related to fact development and electronic discovery. Julie has worked on major litigation including the $60.5 million settlement against Juul and Altria for deceptively marketing tobacco products and targeting Minnesota’s youth. This settlement was the largest per capita of all 48 states and territories that have settled with Juul.
She was also on the trial team for an aerosol dust remover abuse case in 2024, helping secure a landmark $7.75 million verdict against CRC Industries for its failure to prevent the foreseeable misuse of its aerosol dust remover products. The verdict follows the 2019 death of Cynthia McDougall, who was killed in a vehicle crash after an individual who huffed CRC Duster struck her car head-on. Other cases Julie has actively participated in include litigation regarding Benicar, a popular blood pressure medication alleged to cause intestinal problems and Abilify, a prescription drug used to treat mental health conditions that can allegedly lead to impulsive behaviors, including compulsive gambling.
Special recognitions include being named "Attorney of the Year" by Minnesota Lawyer (2023) and being repeatedly tapped as a “North Star Lawyer” by the Minnesota State Bar Association for providing at least 50 hours of pro bono legal services. Julie is a proud member of the American Association for Justice, Minnesota Women Lawyers, the Minnesota Bar Association, and the Minnesota Association for Justice.
