Christina M. Lincoln MLIS
Overview
Christina Lincoln is an advisor and experienced trial attorney practicing within the areas of catastrophic loss insurance, professional lines/management liability insurance, and business litigation. She represents insurance company clients with first-party claims relating to catastrophic losses, including fires, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, building collapses, and earthquakes, among others. Christina advises clients across the United States and abroad regarding coverage and provides strategic advice under all risks, named perils, and builders’ risk policies.
As a Management Liability Insurance Specialist (MLIS), Christina advises and represents clients with insurance claims under different professional lines/management liability policy packages, with particular emphasis on directors and officers (D&O) liability insurance policies. Christina represents clients through litigation as trial counsel in both state and federal courts, and is a member of the firm’s Women in Insurance industry group.
Christina’s business litigation practice has covered a wide range of matters, including claims for breach of contract, contract interpretation, tort liability (including negligence, fraud, and strict liability), breaches of fiduciary duty, unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, alter ego liability, partnership disputes, and other related causes of action. While at a previous firm, Christina also represented clients involved with white collar investigation with the SEC and AG.
Christina served as a Volunteer Deputy City Attorney for the Anaheim City Attorney General’s Office, where she prosecuted misdemeanors to verdict on behalf of the City, including misdemeanors for domestic violence, child endangerment, and vandalism.
Christina is also highly involved with the firm’s diversity and inclusion efforts. She serves on both the firm’s Diversity Committee and Women of Robins Kaplan (WoRK) Group. Ms. Lincoln also previously served as Co-Lead of the Family Resource Group (FRG) in the Los Angeles office.
Christina is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley School of Law. While in law school, she served as a judicial intern for three federal judges from the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit (Hon. John T. Noonan, Jr.) and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California (Hon. Andrew J. Guilford and Hon. Oswald Parada). Christina also served as a Submissions Editor and Staff Editor for the Berkeley Business Law Journal (BBLJ).
