Overview

AJ Valenzi has focused his practice on mastering every side of litigation. Before joining Robins Kaplan, AJ worked in the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Section and the Northern District of Ohio Field Office. He also completed a clerkship with Chief Judge Michael J. Stamm of the 7th Circuit of Maryland, where he assisted in drafting opinions and handling serious felony cases.

Before clerking, AJ graduated cum laude from The George Washington University Law School, where he was recognized as a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and received Dean's Recognition for Professional Development. He was actively involved in the Federal Circuit Bar Journal and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Skills Board. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in International Economics and History from The George Washington University.

Before his legal career, AJ gained experience in the private sector as a Subcontracts Administrator at Sierra Nevada Corporation and as a Regional Procurement Manager at GovPurchase.
