Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Teresa Fariss McClain and Patrick Arenz have been selected to Minnesota Lawyer’s POWER 30 list, honoring the state’s top medical malpractice and personal injury attorneys.

Minnesota Lawyer selected the POWER 30 based on interviews with Minnesota attorneys, a review of significant matters, and Minnesota Lawyer’s own coverage of top practitioners and impactful cases. According to Minnesota Lawyer, the POWER 30 profiles attorneys “whose mere presence on a case signifies the stakes, who have influenced the direction of the law, whose leadership in the community is pervasive and whose respect within the bar is undeniable.”

Teresa Fariss McClain has devoted her career to advocating for individuals, first as a registered nurse and now as a partner seeking justice for those who have been harmed by medical errors or medical negligence. A leader in the legal community, Teresa serves on the Executive Committee of the Minnesota ABOTA Chapter, is a member of the Board of Governors for the Minnesota Association for Justice, and is a member of the Advisory Board for Minnesota Women Lawyers. She is also past president of Minnesota Women Lawyers and Minnesota Women Lawyers Foundation.

Patrick Arenz handles high-stakes disputes for a diverse set of clients, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses and individuals. Arenz recently served as lead trial counsel in a personal injury case where his team secured a $27.8 million jury verdict (including $10 million in punitive damages) on behalf of a top Twin Cities plastic surgeon who endured an amputated leg after Assist America refused to evacuate him for proper medical care. This verdict has been reported as the largest personal injury verdict in Minnesota history.
