Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Tara D. Sutton has been selected as a recipient of the 2015 “Women in Business Award” by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. Her achievements include bellwether cases concerning metal-on-metal hip replacements, the anti-smoking drug Chantix, and the Parkinson’s drug Mirapex.
In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Sutton is deeply involved with the Minneapolis community. She contributes her time to the Public Justice Foundation, the Minneapolis Children’s Theater, and Minneapolis Swims, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing swimming access to urban core neighborhoods in Minneapolis.
Ms. Sutton was also recently named a “Woman Worth Watching” by Profiles in Diversity Journal (2014), a “Female Powerbroker” by Law360 (2014) and a “Plaintiff Top 150 Women in Litigation” by Benchmark Litigation (2013).
