Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Tara Sutton has been named an MVP of the Year in Product Liability by Law360. This award recognizes only five attorneys across the country who had extraordinary wins and contributed most to their practice area over the past year. This is the third time that Law360 has honored Sutton with this award.

Sutton is the chair of the firm’s Mass Tort Group and a member of the Executive Board. She currently serves as co-lead counsel on behalf of the State of Minnesota in its suit against JUUL Labs, and recently spearheaded the negotiation of a $590 million settlement on behalf of hundreds of Tribal governments in the Opioid multi-district litigation. She is also past president of the public interest law firm, Public Justice.

Sutton has been recognized for her leadership skills and accomplishments by numerous organizations. In 2022, she was named a “Leading Practitioner in Products Liability” by Chambers USA and a “Notable Partner in Law” by Twin Cities Business.  She has been listed in the past eight editions of The Best Lawyers in America and repeatedly named a “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers.
