Silicon Valley Lawyer Steven Carlson

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Steven Carlson has been recognized as a “Northern California Super Lawyer” for the eighth consecutive year.

According to Super Lawyers, the selection process for this award is a comprehensive, good-faith, and detailed attempt to produce a list of lawyers who have attained high peer recognition, meet ethical standards, and have demonstrated some degree of achievement in their field. No more than five percent of attorneys can be recognized as "Super Lawyers" in any given year.

Carlson is an intellectual property litigator who draws upon national and international experience to assist clients with a wide range of legal disputes, including patent litigation, trade secret matters, and copyright disputes. Armed with a keen understanding of the technology that powers his clients’ businesses, he works closely with tech companies to protect and promote their unique interests. A thought leader and an educator, Carlson has written numerous articles and books on the topic of patent litigation, most recently co-authoring “Patent Litigation Through the Unified Patent Court and German Courts: An International Handbook.”
