LOS ANGELES (JUNE 13, 2011) - Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P. partner Roman M. Silberfeld, the managing partner of the firm's Los Angeles office, has been selected a "Winning Litigator" by The National Law Journal. The June 13 issue will feature a list of Most Influential Lawyers, including the Winning Litigators.
Mr. Silberfeld was lead trial counsel for U.K. production company Celador International in the "must watch" jury trial of 2010, winning a remarkable $320 million verdict in an entertainment profit participation trial against the world's largest entertainment company, The Walt Disney Company's television network ABC and two of its production companies. It was the 5th largest verdict in the country in 2010, according to VerdictSearch.

Mr. Silberfeld serves on the firm's Executive Board. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation.
Mr. Silberfeld currently has several other high-profile cases pending, representing:
- Indirect purchasers of chocolate products who brought suit for price fixing conspiracy against four major chocolate makers. Mr. Silberfeld is a lead counsel In Re Chocolate Confectionary Antitrust Litigation price fixing case now pending in the middle district of Pennsylvania.
- International Rectifier Corp. in complex litigation involving trade secrets, fraud and breach of contract against the company's former CEO.
