Compiled by the Lawdragon editorial board, the guide recognizes the nation’s preeminent attorneys who represent plaintiffs in securities and other business litigation, antitrust, and whistleblower claims.
Roman Silberfeld, the firm’s National Trial Chair, has more than 40 years of experience as a trial lawyer in civil and criminal cases, including white-collar crime, environmental, personal injury, antitrust, and securities law. He has been lead counsel in a number of high-profile trials, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, and earned more than 50 trial victories, including a $319 million judgment against Walt Disney in a case over profits from ABC’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” He has also served as lead counsel in a number of MDL matters, including In re Wells Fargo Collateral Protection Insurance Litigation, which settled in November 2019 for $432.4 million. Silberfeld currently serves as president of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an exclusive body of civil and criminal trial lawyers from 30 different countries worldwide.
K. Craig Wildfang is co-chair of Robins Kaplan’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Group. For more than 30 years, he has represented parties in private civil antitrust actions in industries ranging from insurance to agricultural commodities. In December 2019, Wildfang helped to secure approval of a $6.25 billion settlement in In re Payment Card Interchange Fee and Merchant Discount Litigation. This is believed to be the largest-ever settlement of a private antitrust case in the 120-year history of the Sherman Act.
