For the fourth year in a row, Robins Kaplan LLP has been recognized by Legal 500 as one of the nation’s leading firms for Antitrust: Civil Litigation/Class Actions.

New York, NY—June 6, 2018—For the fourth year in a row, Robins Kaplan LLP® has been recognized by Legal 500 as one of the nation’s leading firms for Antitrust: Civil Litigation/Class Actions. Hollis Salzman, partner and co-chair of the firm’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation group and a member of the firm’s Executive Board, was again recognized as a Tier 1 Leading Lawyer in the same category. She is one of just 15 lawyers across the country to receive recognition on this year’s list.

Legal 500 noted that Salzman, based in New York, and practice co-chair K. Craig Wildfang, based in Minneapolis, “together have more than 50 years of antitrust litigation experience,” and the antitrust group “regularly handles the most significant roles in groundbreaking class action litigation and private civil claims.” The guide highlighted Salzman’s role as co-lead counsel in In re Automotive Parts Antitrust Litigation, a case that stems from the largest criminal antitrust investigation the U.S. government has ever conducted. To date, Salzman and her team have secured more than $1.07 billion in partial settlements for purchasers of auto parts affected by price-fixing agreements throughout the industry.

Additionally, Kellie Lerner, partner and co-chair of Robins Kaplan’s Diversity Committee, was noted for her role as co-lead counsel in ongoing litigation against Merck over an alleged decade-long scheme to falsify efficacy data and maintain its monopoly as the exclusive supplier of the mumps vaccine in the U.S.

Legal 500 rankings are based on surveys and interviews with more than 250,000 corporate counsel worldwide, as well as Legal 500’s own research. Law firm recommendations are based on national capabilities and emphasize practice teams rather than individuals.
