Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that it has signed the American Bar Association pledge to promote well-being in the legal profession. The firm joins a growing number of law firms and legal employers to take part in this campaign aimed at bringing awareness to the substance use and mental health landscape of the legal profession.
The pledge is part of a campaign called the Working Group to Advance Well-Being in the Legal Profession. It was created in 2017 to make recommendations to help legal employers support healthy work environments, with an emphasis on mental health and substance use issues. The seven-point pledge incorporates education, culture, and internal policies to help ensure the long-term health and well-being of members of the legal profession.
“Robins Kaplan welcomes the opportunity to be a part of this important initiative,” said Chandra Kilgriff, Robins Kaplan’s Chief Talent and Diversity Officer. “This pledge provides a strong framework for supporting the mental health of our legal professionals and shines a light on the importance of providing resources and policies that foster a culture of well-being.”
