Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected as a finalist for The National Law Journal’s 2023 Elite Trial Lawyers Award in the areas of Antitrust and Pharmaceutical Litigation. This award recognizes law firms that have provided cutting-edge representation and achieved major wins on behalf of plaintiffs.

In addition, Brandon Vaughn, a partner in the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Group, has been named a “Rising Star of the Plaintiffs Bar.” This award category recognizes a select group of young lawyers who are up-and-comers in the plaintiffs’ bar.

For almost fifteen years, Vaughn has dedicated his law practice to advocating for individuals and families who have been injured by others. He is committed to understanding the challenges clients face while helping them secure compensation for their losses. He frequently handles cases involving injuries to children after birth leading to cerebral palsy, failure to timely diagnose cancer, failure to timely diagnose stroke, and failure to provide appropriate care in nursing homes and group homes. Vaughn’s advocacy in challenging, complex cases has earned him recognition from several professional organizations. In 2022, he was named a “Most Influential Black Lawyer” by Savoy Magazine and included in Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers in America” guide. He has also been listed in the past three editions of The Best Lawyers in America.

This year’s finalists will be recognized and winners will be named at an awards dinner on July 13 in New York City.
