New York, NY—August 3, 2017—Robins Kaplan LLP® is pleased to announce that Hollis Salzman, co-chair of the firm’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Practice, has again been named one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation by Benchmark Litigation. This is the second consecutive year Salzman has been named to the list, which is considered the definitive guide to the country’s leading female litigators, and features honorees from across the United States.

Two decades into her career, Salzman has served as court appointed co-lead counsel on a number of the world’s largest antitrust litigation matters, recovering more than $2 billion for victims of anticompetitive conduct. Notably, as co-lead counsel in the massive In re Air Cargo Shipping Services Litigation, a class action against many of the world’s largest airlines, she secured more than $1.2 billion in settlements for purchasers of airfreight services.

Salzman’s groundbreaking work also includes her role as co-lead counsel in In re Automotive Parts Antitrust Litigation—stemming from what the government calls the largest price-fixing conspiracy in U.S. history—in which she has recovered more than $715 million for purchasers of car parts affected by price-fixing agreements to date. She also acts as co-lead counsel in antitrust litigation against the four dominant manufacturers and the largest distributor of contact lenses, and in litigation against the two dominant suppliers of IV saline solution.

Her advocacy in such matters has been recognized by Chambers USA, Benchmark Litigation, and Legal 500, among others. She has also been named to The National Law Journal’s first-ever Antitrust and M&A Trailblazers list, to Global Investigations Review’s list of the 100 most influential Women in Investigations, and was most recently named a Distinguished Leader by the New York Law Journal.

Benchmark Litigation’s extensive research process includes investigation into the individual litigators’ professional activities, as well as client feedback surveys and individual interviews. The complete 2017 guide can be found here.
