Firm Recognized as Leader across Numerous Practices, including Antitrust, Commercial Litigation, Bankruptcy, and Intellectual Property

MINNEAPOLIS, MN—May 26, 2017—National law firm Robins Kaplan LLP® announced today that Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business has recognized the firm and its attorneys for their work across multiple practice areas, including antitrust, bankruptcy & restructuring, commercial litigation, intellectual property, media & entertainment, and Native American law.

For the third year in a row, the firm received a first band ranking for Antitrust: Plaintiff nationwide, as well as first band rankings in Minnesota for Antitrust, Intellectual Property, and Litigation: General Commercial. The firm was also ranked in band three for Bankruptcy/Restructuring in California.

Fourteen of the firm’s attorneys were also recognized individually in Chambers USA 2017:

  • Antitrust: Hollis Salzman and K. Craig Wildfang, co-chairs of the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Group, ranked in the first band for Antitrust: Plaintiff nationwide. Additionally, Mr. Wildfang was recognized in the first band for Minnesota’s Antitrust rankings, while Ms. Salzman was recognized in band four for the state of New York. Ryan W. Marth, a principal at the firm, was recognized as an Up and Coming Antitrust attorney in the state of Minnesota for the second consecutive year.
  • Bankruptcy/Restructuring: In California, Howard J. Weg and Scott F. Gautier, co-chairs of the Restructuring and Business Bankruptcy Practice, were ranked in bands two and four, respectively.
  • Commercial Litigation: Partner Eric J. Magnuson ranked in the first band as a top Litigation practitioner for appellate work in Minnesota.
  • Intellectual Property: In Minnesota, Ronald J. Schutz, chair of the National Intellectual Property and Technology Litigation Group, were both ranked in band one. Jake M. Holdreith, industry leader of Health and Life Sciences, was ranked in band two for the second consecutive year, and Jamie R. Kurtz was recognized for the first time as an Associate to Watch.
  • Media & Entertainment: Mark D. Passin was recognized in band four for Media & Entertainment: Litigation in California.
  • Native American Law: Brendan V. Johnson, partner and co-chair of the firm’s American Indian Law and Policy Group and Government and Internal Investigations Group, was nationally recognized for the first time as an Up and Coming attorney for Native American law.
