NEW YORK, NY—February 15, 2018—Global Competition Review has recognized Robins Kaplan LLP® and principal Meegan Hollywood as finalists for the 2018 Antitrust Awards. The firm is a finalist for Regional Firm of the Year: Americas, and Hollywood is a finalist for Lawyer of the Year: Under 40. Finalists were chosen by GCR’s editorial team, and winners will be selected through online votes. Voting is open until midnight on February 20.

Robins Kaplan was recognized for its many successes over the past year, including recovering more than $300 million in settlements for purchasers of auto parts in multidistrict litigation stemming from the largest criminal antitrust investigation in U.S. history. The team also filed one of the first complaints against Wells Fargo alleging a practice of charging loan borrowers for unnecessary auto insurance.

Hollywood, who was promoted to principal at Robins Kaplan earlier this year, has helped recover more than $1.5 billion for victims of anticompetitive conduct. After helping secure $1.2 billion in settlements in In re Air Cargo Shipping Services Antitrust Litigation, the massive litigation against 32 global airlines, she currently acts as co-lead counsel in an antitrust action against the dominant suppliers of IV saline solution, alleging that defendants Baxter and Hospira orchestrated an artificial price increase under the pretext of a supply shortage. Hollywood is also litigating a proposed class action against Keurig Green Mountain for its alleged participation in a scheme to unfairly monopolize the multibillion-dollar market for “K-Cups.”

Winners will be announced at the GCR awards ceremony on April 10.
