Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Rayna Kessler, Deputy Chair of the firm’s Mass Tort Group, has been recognized on Crain’s New York Business 2025 Notable Litigators and Trial Attorneys list.

A distinguished advocate for those harmed by corporate negligence and institutional abuse, Kessler has established herself as a formidable force in complex litigation nationwide. She currently serves as the MDL Liaison Counsel in the Exactech Polyethylene Orthopedic Products Liability Litigation, overseeing litigation involving approximately 150,000 recalled hip, knee, and ankle replacement devices. Her leadership has been instrumental in coordinating communication between the Plaintiff Executive Committee, the Court, and counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

Throughout her career, Kessler has championed victims in numerous high-profile cases, including the Benicar MDL litigation and actions against the Catholic Church and Jehovah's Witnesses on behalf of child sex abuse survivors. She has held court-appointed leadership positions in several multi-county litigations in New Jersey, including Taxotere, Abilify, and Olmesartan.

Beyond her litigation work, Kessler actively contributes to the legal community as a Board Member for Public Justice, an Executive and Founding Board Member of Collective Liberty, and a member of the American Association for Justice's Section Group Leader Council Committee. She also serves on the Mass Tort Committee of the New Jersey Association for Justice and as a Law360 New Jersey Editorial Advisory Board Member.
