This is the third consecutive year that Aaron and Patrick have been recognized on this prestigious list.

Patrick Arenz is a partner and trial lawyer at Robins Kaplan LLP. He handles high-stakes disputes for a diverse set of clients, ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small inventor-led companies and individuals. His practice focuses on patent and copyright infringement matters, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract disputes, and business and individual tort cases. His verdicts and litigation results have exceeded $100 million in value for clients. Patrick has tried cases to verdict in a wide spectrum of matters, ranging from patent infringement to breach of contract to personal injury and felony-level criminal cases, among others. According to IAM Magazine, Patrick is an “excellent, thorough, and focused cross-examiner.” Based on his accomplishments, Patrick was included on the IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals list, named a Minnesota Attorney of the Year in 2018, selected for the Minneapolis/St Paul Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 list, and named the  Legal Media Group Americas Rising Star 2019 Winner for Best in Litigation: Trial Lawyer.

Aaron Fahrenkrog, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Group, represents both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of patent monetization and litigation from licensing through Federal Circuit appeal. He has recovered nearly $500 million in royalties for his clients through a combination of patent licensing and strategic enforcement. He handles complex cases in a wide range of areas, including patents, technology licensing, and intellectual property valuation. Clients frequently trust him with cases that exceed a billion dollars in potential damages. In recent years, his work has focused on semiconductor and computing technologies; he has litigated patents from the most basic level of transistor construction to the technology required to display content onscreen.
