Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partners Jake Holdreith, Christopher Larus, Cyrus Morton, and Ronald Schutz have once again been named to the IAM Strategy 300 Global Leaders Guide. According to IAM, the guide “draws from the worlds of private practice, consulting, and other service providers, with specialists from the major IP markets in North America, Europe and Asia. Together they possess a wealth of expertise across disciplines and sectors.”

Jake Holdreith is the managing partner of the firm’s Minneapolis office, a member of the Executive Board, and the leader of the Life Sciences Group. He has tried jury cases to multi-million-dollar verdicts and resolved complex cases at all stages of litigation. Based on his accomplishments, he was admitted to the American College of Trial Lawyers in 2023, one of the premier legal associations in North America.

Christopher Larus, the firm’s National Trial Chair, has been a trusted advisor to leading technology companies for over 25 years. He focuses on protecting and monetizing intellectual property, handling complex patent, trade secret, trademark, copyright, and licensing disputes in U.S. courts and international arbitration. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Cyrus Morton chairs the firm’s Patent Office Trials Group. He has counseled clients ranging from small companies and solo inventors to large corporate clients on all aspects of IP-related litigation for more than 25 years. He made history as the first – and still only – attorney to handle all four types of post-grant proceedings under the America Invents Act, cementing his leadership in PTAB practice.

Ronald Schutz is a member of the firm’s Executive Board and immediate past Chairman. A Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, he is widely regarded as one of the nation's top trial attorneys. He has secured numerous high-stakes jury verdicts, including a nine-figure and multiple eight-figure wins, in cases against industry giants such as Apple, General Electric, Sony, and Canon.
