Lawdragon recently announced that Robins Kaplan partners Hollis Salzman, Roman Silberfeld, and K. Craig Wildfang have been named to the 2020 “Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers in America” guide.

Compiled by the Lawdragon editorial board, the guide recognizes the nation’s preeminent attorneys who represent plaintiffs in securities and other business litigation, antitrust, and whistleblower claims.

  • Hollis Salzman is managing partner of the firm’s New York office, co-chair of the firm’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Group, and a member of the firm’s executive board. Two decades into her career, Salzman has served as a court-appointed lead counsel on some of the world’s largest antitrust litigation matters, recovering more than $2 billion for victims of anticompetitive conduct.

  • Roman Silberfeld, the firm’s National Trial Chair, has more than 40 years of experience as a trial lawyer in civil and criminal cases, including white-collar crime, environmental, personal injury, antitrust, and securities law. He has been lead counsel in a number of high-profile trials, representing both plaintiffs and defendants, and earned more than 50 trial victories, including a $319 million judgment against Walt Disney in a case over profits from ABC’s “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.” He has also served as lead counsel in a number of MDL matters, including In re Wells Fargo Collateral Protection Insurance Litigation, which settled in November 2019 for $432.4 million.

  • K. Craig Wildfang is a co-chair of Robins Kaplan’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Group. For more than 30 years, he has represented parties in private civil antitrust actions in industries ranging from insurance to agricultural commodities. In December 2019, Wildfang helped to secure approval of a $6.25 billion settlement in In re Payment Card Interchange Fee and Merchant Discount Litigation. This is believed to be the largest-ever settlement of a private antitrust case in the 120-year history of the Sherman Act.
