Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that Dr. Shelley Gilliss, chief business intelligence officer, has been listed in Minnesota 500.

Billed as a guide to “the 500 most powerful and influential leaders in Minnesota,” Minnesota 500 profiles professionals across more than 60 industries and in companies across the state.

As chief business intelligence officer, Dr. Gilliss leads diverse, cross-disciplinary teams that complement Robins Kaplan’s litigation services. Her teams are experts in Ediscovery and business intelligence, and they include specialized consultants who provide expertise in science and technology, finance, accounting, and economics.

Dr. Gilliss received her Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from the University of Minnesota. Her research experience includes thin-film deposition techniques, and she has hands-on experience in semiconductor processing, transmission-electron microscopy, electron-energy loss spectroscopy, scanning-electron microscopy, and more.

Dr. Gilliss is admitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and an active member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Association.
