Minneapolis Lawyer Brandon Vaughn

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Brandon Vaughn has been selected as a member of the National Bar Association (NBA) Nation’s Best Advocates: Top 40 Under 40. According to the NBA, this list recognizes the nation’s top lawyers under the age of 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, including innovation, vision, leadership, legal and community involvement.

For nearly 15 years, Vaughn has dedicated his law practice to advocating for individuals and families who have been injured by others. A partner in the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Group, he frequently handles cases involving injuries to children after birth leading to cerebral palsy, failure to timely diagnose cancer or stroke, and failure to provide appropriate care in nursing homes and group homes. Most recently, he secured a $7.5 million verdict on behalf of the family of a man who was shot and killed after a minor fender bender in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Multiple publications have recognized Vaughn for his leadership skills and professional achievements. Most recently, he was selected as a “Rising Star of the Plaintiffs Bar” by The National Law Journal. In 2022, he was named a “Most Influential Black Lawyer” by Savoy Magazine and a “Notable Partner in Law” by Twin Cities Business. He has also been included in the past three editions of The Best Lawyers in America.

Vaughn will be recognized at the NBA’s Awards Gala on Wednesday, August 2 in Minneapolis.
