Minneapolis Lawyer Brandon Vaughn

Robins Kaplan LLP is pleased to announce that partner Brandon Vaughn has been elected Chair of the American Association for Justice’s (AAJ) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee. In this national leadership role, Vaughn will spearhead efforts to advance diversity within AAJ, while also overseeing the AAJ’s Leadership Academy and Member Firm Pledge to Act programs.

A partner in the firm’s Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Group, Vaughn has dedicated his law practice to advocating for individuals and families injured by others. He regularly handles cases related to delayed cancer or stroke diagnosis, inadequate care in nursing homes and group homes, and injuries to children after birth leading to cerebral palsy. 

A dedicated advocate for equality, Vaughn has held leadership roles in several prominent organizations committed to advancing diversity and inclusion, including Twin Cities Diversity in Practice and The Black Biglaw Pipeline. Within the firm, he serves as Chair of the Black Firm Member Resource Group. A prolific author and speaker, Vaughn frequently shares his insights on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal profession through published articles and speaking engagements. His leadership and contributions have been widely recognized by publications such as Super Lawyers, Minnesota Lawyer, Lawdragon, The National Law Journal, and more.
