On Monday, September 18 Bryan Mechell presented on a panel titled, "The Infringing Underbelly of AI Is Resistance Futile?" at IPWatchdog LIVE 2023, an annual conference geared towards bringing together the intellectual property community.

In a rapidly evolving field that seems to be getting deeper daily, AI is transforming how we create and protect art, intellectual property, brands, and even identities. Deep fakes, used to create highly realistic but false representations of people and events, can be used to create infringing images, fake logos, endorsements, advertisements, or other content that is deceptive to consumers and damaging to a brand’s reputation. This panel of experts explored how AI and deep fakes are transforming the way we identify and enforce IP rights.
