This session will cover the latest developments coming out of the Unified Patent Court and how to build this into your toolkit for a cross-border litigation strategy.

Topics will include:

  • Leveraging preliminary and permanent injunctions in the UPC;
  • Employing seizure proceedings in the UPC for early discovery;
  • Navigating jurisdictional divides between the UPC’s various divisions and European national courts; and
  • Coordinating US and UPC proceedings, including through litigation funding arrangements. The UPC is now open for business.
